I like Mason's easy-to-carry leader wheels. They're compact, and the line doesn't spool out like on the big Maxima wheels. Unlike Maxima, you can trust the Mason's to be accurate to its diameter, so you wont need a micrometer to tie a leader. I used softer tippets. But the butt and taper sections of the leader perform well with Masons.
